What Is Affiliate Marketing?

  1. Affiliate Marketing is a type of performance-based marketing in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought by the affiliate's own marketing efforts. The industry has four core players: the merchant, the network, the publisher, and the customer.
-Summing it up: you promote a product/s and receive a commission when a sale is made and is referred by you.

Where do I find a product/s?

To find a product you can do a search. For example, you could do a search on hosting and when you find a host then you would obtain an affiliate link. If you look at the bottom of the page you should see affiliates. That means us. Once you click that you will then be able to use your special affiliate link. This link is special because it tells the company who they need to pay for the commission. Without that link you don't make a penny! So be sure to use your link.

You can check these out as well. They have tons of products to chose from...
*These are free to use*

- Commission Junction
- Shareasale   << Favorite by the way. I definitely recommend this one!

How Do I get Paid?

The company you are promoting for will send you a check or direct deposit into your bank account. Whichever you chose. Some have Paypal and some will only do Paypal! Some pay twice a month and some pay only once. You can view your account info once you register to see how often and when that company pays.

How To Promote Products

You can use social media like Facebook and Twitter. If you don't have either of these you can register for them and start building your traffic aka friends lists. You can do a review about a product on your blog/website. You can even use Youtube and submit a video (which works like magic). Classifieds don't send traffic as fast as you may like but it does work. My favorite way to drive traffic are solo ads. Solo ads are when you pay someone to send a email with your link to their own personal email lists. They also guarantee a certain amount of clicks on your link. I believe this is one of the fastest ways to get some clicks and maybe even a few sales.

Is GVO The Ultimate Marketers Toolbox?

When marketing on the internet, sometimes you feel like your head is going to explode! The amount of tools, systems, and services out there will make your head spin which make promises of easy riches when you use them.
Every day, there seems to be another "magic tool" that pops up promising millions of visitors to your site and large sums of money in your bank account....effortlessly.
It can get overwhelming and take focus away from what you should be doing to build your business.
As you know, there are tools out there that not only make your life easier, but keep your business running on auto-pilot for you.
The trick is to know which ones to focus on and which ones to stay away from!
Let's go through the essentials which every top internet marketer depends on a daily basis to run their million dollar businesses...
1) Web Hosting
Obviously, without hosting, the internet would be a pretty boring place to hang out. If you have a domain name, you need a place to host it so others can find you.
Hosting companies out there range from free all the way to over $500 a month for dedicated hosting.
The key is to find a company that provides 99% uptime and also provides 24/7 support in case you ever have a problem.
And of course, just like anything, you get what you pay for.
2) Auto-Responders
Have you heard the phrase, "The Money Is In The List?"
Well, having an autoresponder and building a list that knows, likes, and trusts you is the fastest way to literally pushing a button and having money coming in your bank account... faster than you can say... Hot Biscuits!
The formula is simple.
Create a page that gives something of huge value totally away for free. This could be a free report, a video lesson, an audio interview, or a live webinar.
Then, in exchange for your free information, the visitor will give you their name and email address.
And then the magic happens. You can follow up with them automatically and offer more value and even get them to buy something!
This is all done using an auto-repsonder, all automatically and efficiently for you.
Again, companies providing auto-responders range from $20 a month up to $99 a month.
3) Video Hosting
The internet is all about video. And without some type of video on your website, most people will simply not hang around.
Video allows you to bond with your visitor and create more trust than with just words on your site.
We've all heard of YouTube for sure. But is a free service that is known for pranks, jokes, and music videos the right image for your business?
There's a reason the top marketers host their videos through paid services and you should to.
4) Website Builder and Prospecting System
99% of internet marketers don't have the time and/or the skills to create their own websites or prospecting pages. Trying to learn website design and html code is not the best way to spend your time.
That's where website builders come in. You simply customize your pages with your own video, product info, auto-responder, and you're done!
5) Live Webcasts
The most powerful way to sell is face to face. You get instant feedback and customers can ask questions and get their answers immediately.
Since we don't want to meet all our visitors in person... Webcasts are the next best thing.
We can sit in the comfort of our own homes and present to people all over the world. Product demonstrations, video overviews, live questions and answers, it's all possible with Webcasts.
If you're not using Webcasts in your business, you are missing out on thousands of dollars of sales.
Typical companies charge between $49 to $99 a month and more.
The Top 5 Essential Tools
These are the top five tools that every top marketer uses and depends on a daily basis to make sales on auto-pilot.
And you can too.
Now, you can get all these great tools from different companies and pay between $150 to over $350 each and every month.
Or, you can make the smart decision and get them all from one company and save a huge amount of money.
GVO offers all these tools under one roof and for only $1.45 a day. That's less than a Starbucks coffee!
And the best part is, for a limited time, you can take advantage of all these amazing tools and profit with them for a full 14 days for only a $1.
Don't decide now, use all the tools and see how powerful they are and how they will help explode your business online right now.

Traffic Building Strategies

Here are a couple of strategies to build traffic

  • Social Media like Facebook or Twitter will drive traffic to your blog/website or product/s. although I highly recommend an auto publisher like Sprout Social. You can schedule your posts in advance and it auto posts for you. Its like an autoresponder except for social media.

  • Classifieds wont bring in an extreme amount of traffic but it will bring in some depending on what area you post it and how you write the post.

  • Ads can pull a good amount of traffic too. I like solo ads because your guaranteed the amount of clicks you pay for. Also putting ads on major websites will drive traffic as well.

How To Make Money with Squeeze Pages

*This is NOT for those wishing to become millionaires overnight! These are free strategies to making money online. What you get out of it is what you put into it.

So You Found Your Niche (hobby/passion)

If you have decided you wanted to start making money online, then affiliate marketing would be a perfect place to start. You need a squeeze page for the product you plan to promote. These pages take time to build unless you hire someone to write them for you. That is after taking the time to find someone who writes quality content and then that will be more money and time spent on top of what you have already invested. BUT here is the easier way....

Step 1: Squeeze Page

Having quality content and products is a must. BUT if you have really great product on a crappy page, no one is going to buy it! Therefore no commissions. The squeeze page will capture emails and those emails will become apart of your subscribers list. From there you can send out email with great info and offers.

If you don't already have a product to promote on your squeeze page step 2 will show you where you can get the products. I promote products I use, which most are tied in with Clickbank.

Step 2: Where To Find Products To Promote

Clickbank is one of the best known marketplaces for products. Anyone looking to make money online uses it. It is FREE to sign up and use. Go ahead to Clickbank and fill out your information (like name, address, & where you want your check sent, ya know that kinda stuff). Then you will head to the marketplace and choose a category that fits your niche.

All of the products I promote I use myself so I can truly tell people about my experiences with them. getting an audience is what you want to do. Leading people on with phony reviews is not what you want to do.

Products with recurring commissions is a big plus. Even if it has a free trial, you may not make that commission on the first purchase. BUT after that free trial is over they will be billed from then and every month after and you will make a commission for each and every month.

After you have picked your product you will want to click promote. Then you will then have to enter your username you signed up with and it will generate a special link that you will use for making your commissions.

Step 2: Autoresponder

Once you have chosen your product and have access to the affiliate tools and have set up your squeeze page, go ahead and set your autoresponder.  I use GVO which is a great host that came with an autoresponder and some other cool tools. Set up your campaign along with about a weeks worth of email swipes. Copy and paste your campaign form to your squeeze pages.

Step 3: Traffic

Drive traffic to your squeeze pages by solo ads, social media, etc.

getting familiar with email marketing. The squeeze page and auto responder go hand in hand.
